Welcome to Thoughtfully Built.

If this is your first time visiting, you're probably wondering:

What is this blog about, and where should I start?

You're in the right place.

Thoughtfully Built is where I document what I learn while building software, launching products, solving technical challenges, and navigating the realities of entrepreneurship as a solo developer.

I'm Keshav Chauhan, a developer and founder currently building RozVibe, a privacy-first encrypted journaling application focused on emotional safety and user privacy.

This blog exists to share practical lessons, technical insights, and real-world experiences from building software from the ground up.

Whether you're a developer, founder, indie hacker, or simply curious about how products are built, I hope you'll find something useful here.

What You'll Find Here

The content on Thoughtfully Built is organized around a few core themes.

Flutter Development

Flutter is my primary framework for building mobile applications.

You'll find articles covering:

Flutter architecture State management Performance optimization Firebase integration Production app development Development workflows Lessons learned from real projects

If you're building Flutter applications, many of the technical articles here are written specifically with practical implementation in mind.

Privacy & Security Engineering

One topic you'll see frequently throughout this blog is privacy.

As software becomes increasingly data-driven, I believe developers have a responsibility to think carefully about how user information is collected, stored, and protected.

Topics include:

Encryption App security Authentication Privacy-first architecture Secure cloud synchronization Mobile security best practices User trust and product design

Many of these lessons come directly from building RozVibe.

Building RozVibe

RozVibe is a privacy-first encrypted journaling app that I'm currently building.

The project serves as both a product and a learning experience.

Along the way, I'll be sharing:

Technical architecture decisions Security implementations Product development lessons Marketing experiments Startup challenges Growth strategies Founder reflections

If you're interested in building software products from scratch, this section will likely be the most relevant.

Startups & Indie Hacking

Building software is only part of the journey.

Getting users, validating ideas, positioning products, and learning how to market what you build are equally important.

Here I write about:

Startup lessons Building in public Product validation User acquisition App marketing ASO (App Store Optimization) Solo founder experiences Sustainable product growth

Everything shared comes from direct experience rather than theory.

Why This Blog Exists

The internet has no shortage of advice.

What it often lacks is context.

Many articles tell you what worked.

Few explain why.

Even fewer share the mistakes, tradeoffs, and uncertainty that happen behind the scenes.

My goal with Thoughtfully Built is to create content that is honest, practical, and grounded in real experience.

Not growth hacks.

Not hype.

Not recycled advice.

Just lessons learned from building software and trying to do it thoughtfully.

Follow the Journey

I'm still early in the journey.

RozVibe is still being built.

New lessons are being learned every week.

And this blog is where I'll document as much of that process as possible.

If you're interested in Flutter development, privacy engineering, app security, startups, indie hacking, or building products from scratch, you're exactly the kind of reader I created this blog for.

Thanks for being here.
